“We hide our fears from the outside world, even when they are bursting to come out.”
Through my concept of “Inner Fears, Outer Emotions” I portray the complexity of human fears in their most common contexts. I juxtaposed the stark contrast between the internal and external self and the struggle of choosing what you show the world versus the reality of living in your own world. This will show how our fears are abstract and don’t live in the “real” world. This is why my photographs have “dreamlike” or “fantasy” effect to question whether fear is real or something we make up in our head. I showcased six universal fears.
